blender curtain 1


add a plane, ctrl + r to loop cut 100 x 100
alt + select top edge. object property add a vertex group, assign top edge

ctrl + tap to switch to heat map, physics property, click cloth

add 2 shape keys, select 2nd key
set cursor to up left corner, pivot to cursor, s + x to scale 0.5

move to frame 1, mouse over key 1 value, i to insert a frame
increase value to 1, slide to frame 50,  mouse over key 1, i to insert a frame

physics property -> enable self collisions, change distance to 0.0015m

physic property -> increase quality steps to 5
decrease vertex mass to 0.1kg, decrease compression to 5

select pin vertex group, ctrl + i to invert, h to hide

move vertices to w shape for pleat effect
s + x to extend by 2

 
physics property -> increase quality steps and collisions quality to 10
decrease stiffness compression to 1
