blender Plexus


geometry nodes -> add grid, triangulate node
increase grid sizeY, verticesX, verticesY

add displacement modifier, set texture to cloud
decrease cloud size and depth
add an empty axis, set it as displacement object

add another geometry node modifier
add instance on point node with spere as instance

duplicate instance on point node, reduce sphere scale
randomize large sphere size, increase the min scale

add separate geometry node so that some cells don't have nuclei

add mesh to curve and curve to mesh node
feed in curve circle node as profile to control the radius of the links

add materials, cell as glass, nuclei and wires are metal

in shading tab, feed color ramp to emission, change color, increase emission strength

duplicate base color, feed to mix shader
feed noise texture to mix shader to randomize cells lighting up

rotate cells, enable camera depth of field
reduce f-stop, adjust distance for effect of focus on near and blur on distant
